solution that is very easy to deploy and maintain. These solutions
are ideal for securing a small remote office, retail outlet,
or broadband telecommuter.
The Juniper Networks Secure Services Gateway
5 (SSG 5) and Secure Services Gateway
20 (SSG 20) are purpose-built, high performace platforms
that deliver WAN connectivity and security, with the strength
to protect the high-speed LAN against internal network and
application-level attacks.
The Juniper Networks NetScreen-5GT, NetScreen-5GT
ADSL, NetScreen-5GT Wireless and
NetScreen-5XT appliances continue to
offer an integrated security solution combining Statefull
firewall, Deep Inspection Firewall, IPSec VPN, antivirus and
Web Filtering.
Considering the number of remote users enterprises potentially
have to secure, they can't afford to have a solution that
is difficult to deploy and configure. Juniper Networks has
created a remote access solution that is very easy to deploy
and maintain. Enterprises can use the NetScreen
Hardware Security Client or for laptop users the NetScreen
Remote VPN software Client system for VPN functionality,
or combine VPN and personal firewall functionality with the
NetScreen Remote Security Client system.

form factor platform that delivers 160 Mbps of stateful
firewall traffic and 40 Mbps of IPSec VPN throughput.
The SSG 20 is a modular platform that

The NetScreen-5GT appliance
is a feature-rich, enterprise-class, network security
solution that integrates multiple security functions
- Stateful and Deep Inspection firewall, IPSec VPN,
denial of service protection, antivirus and Web filtering.
For application-level protection, the NetScreen-5GT
appliance supports embedded virus scanning, to help
eliminate virus threats from the network. In addition,
integrated Web filtering is offered on the NetScreen-5GT
appliance, to optimize productivity and bandwidth utilization
by controlling non-business-related Web surfing. The
NetScreen-5GT Ethernet solution is ideal for environments
that need hardwired connectivity backed by robust network,
application and payload level security. The NetScreen-5GT
Ethernet is available with five Ethernet interfaces
that can be deployed in a wide variety of configurations.

administrators up to four configurable Wireless Security
Zones each with a unique SSID that can be used to provision
appropriate levels of security for different types of
users. To help ensure wireless security, privacy and
interoperability, the NetScreen-5GT Wireless supports
a broad set of wireless authentication and privacy mechanisms.
The NetScreen-5GT Wireless includes standard Ethernet
connectivity with ADSL as a hardware option. |

HARDWARE SECURITY CLIENT(HSC)
This provides the same powerful features
of the NetScreen-5GT repackaged for the home user or retail
outlet. In standard form it is limited to 5 concurrent users
and 2 VPN tunnels and is attractively priced for major rollouts.
It can be upgraded to unlimited users and supports all of
the same UTM subscription services as the NetScreen-5GT.
NETSCREEN
REMOTE CLIENT
This IPSec VPN software client supports
for the highest levels of encryption and authentication algorithms.
It is typically installed on corporate laptops to provide
a secure VPN tunnel back to the central Juniper NetScreen
Firewall VPN appliance. It is available in bundles of 10,
100 or 1000 licences and runs on Windows XP and 2000. A Vista
version is due late 2007.

REMOTE SECURITY CLIENT
This is the NetScreen Remote Client
with an added Symantec (Sygate) client Firewall to ensure that information remains private and the network is secure from unauthorised users.
