Remote Access Solutions offer the user direct access into the office network, functioning as if they were physically present. The connection between remote user and network can be modem , ISDN or GSM and requires no client side software.

and MultiTech
to offer you network connectivity solutions, which link
users reliably to central servers. However, Perle and
MultiTech have withdrawn their RAS servers from the
European market as they fail to comply with the RoHS
directive (Restriction of Hazardous Substances in Electrical
and Electronic Equipment 2002/95/EC).
As of 1st July 2006, these products will only be imported
for service replacements. XCOMM can facilitate service
replacements or advise you on alternative solutions. |
